HOW IT BEGAN
Around 1970 the Bath Arts Workshop began the tradition that Connect Bath now continues on Christmas Day. Back then it was held in the old Sweetlands organ factory in Walcot Street, then the canteen of international engineering company Stothert and Pitt, then St Mark’s Church (now community centre) in Widcombe. It is now hosted in the impressive main dining hall of Kingswood School.
